Red Bull
The Red Bull singers are from Little Pine, Saskatchewan.
Edmund Bull formed the renowned and World Champion "Red
Bull" singers, one of the top traditional pow-wow
singing groups in Indian country. They are honoured
and requested to attend many celebrations to act as
host drum. Red Bull has performed throughout Canada,
the United States and Europe. In 1994, a career highlight
was a tour to the Goodwill Games in Russia, Poland,
Finland and Sweden. In 1995 The Red Bull Singers had
the honour of performing with Buffy Sainte-Marie on
a song composed by Edmund Bull and Buffy Sainte-Marie
entitled "Darling Don't Cry," which led to
an appearance on the Rita McNeil Show as well as a music
video with Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Edmund's solo CD "Indian Boy" was nominated
for Best Male Artist, and Edmund Bull was nominated
for Best Male Artist, at the 2000 Canadian Aboriginal
Music Awards.
