Heritage
All of Heritage's members grew up in the same community
and knew each other from a very young age. All of them
have the same back ground and share the same goals.
Sharing and displaying their talent and having new ideas
is what will drive these five individuals to bigger
goals and future projects. Together since 1998, their
first album was nominated for Canadian aboriginal Music
Awards and Prairie Music Awards in 1992. Heritage's
lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist is Darren Bignell.
Pete Constant provides backing vocals and guitars, and
has been writing short stories and playing guitar since
he was 16. Jeff McKenzie playes bass with the group
and Darren's brother Quintin Bignell plays drums. Heritage's
newest and eldest member is Joe Lathlin; "Joey"
plays rhythm, lead guitar, and sings backing vocals.
